For our management class at Chico State, each team was given an assignment to come up with a project that benefits the area surrounding the campus. Some groups raised money for charities, and others collected clothing for the Salvation Army. My group, Team 5, decided we would clean up the streets of a particularly dirty area of Chico, Warner Street. We each brought people to help us with the project, and together all 13 of us collected about eight bags of trash and recyclables. Cleaning up the streets isn’t too bad when you have a fun group of people working with you. So we cleaned Warner and the surrounding streets. We had a great turnout and a very successful project.
